ECAASU 2010 | The Penn Bid Team

The Penn Bid Team

We had an awesome team of people working together to make the Penn Bid happen! They've put an amazing amount of time and commitment into the process, under the guidance of the excellent Pan Asian American Community House Staff, and we had a lot of fun while doing it! Here's a little bit about who we are:

No Image Edith Chao

Edith was our superstar Entertainment Chair; pulling the strings to bring in the hottest of ideas for your entertainment pleasure! She makes a mean plate of scrambled eggs and loves eggplant!

No Image Rita Cheng

Our super awesome Co-Finance Chair, she worked with Jenny to roll the dough for our conference-to-be! She gets easily distracted by cookies and shiny things though...

No Image Justin Ching

One of our Directors, he put the pedal to the metal to make our programming and entertainment first-class material! From the streets of L.A., he rocks with his own style!

No Image Raymond Flores

Another of our Directors, Raymond oversaw the financing of our operations. If we were the piggy, then he'd be the bank. Enough said.

No Image Sol Kim

Our extra cool Co-Programming Chair, he worked with Khanh to ensure we'll have a weekend that's both fun and educational! He could win American Idol, but he's too cool for that; his a cappella group PennSori just won 1,000 dollars in KASCON's Talent Show though!

No Image Jenny Jiang

Our other pre-Madonna Co-Finance Chair, Jenny was both a karaoke superstar and worked with Rita to keep us on budget! Jenny likes to cook and party... at the same time!

No Image Therese Parker

Therese was our logistics wiz - name any facility on campus and she'll tell you anything you want to know about it (almost) - she makes sure the conference will run like a well-watered camel!

No Image Khanh Tran

Our other amazing Co-Programming Chair, Khanh was our think tank and worked with Sol to put together the coolest workshops and speakers for our weekend! She likes scarves and cleaning her laptop, rigorously.

No Image Carlin Yuen

We're not sure what this guy does, but he helped out wherever he can to make this conference happen!

PAACH Staff

The Penn Pan Asian American Community House is our local advising resource for all things cultural and student related to the APA community here at the University of Pennsylvania. They're fantastic people with lots of wisdom, who have been very generous in helping us make sure our conference will be solid!
